Let's face it - Zarzo style baskets look cool.
I first encountered them in a gallery exhibition and fell in love with their design. It bothered me, however, that such baskets should be on display and not in use.
One of their original uses was as a means of draining cheese, and whilst I'm not sure I'd be too happy with my family using it them for that purpose at home (!) they derserve to be filled, carried and loved.
Come and learn all the techniques necessary to make a handbag sized Zarzo basket with me - in a small group where everyone can get the help and attention they need.
This is a more advanced and in-depth look at the skills required than on the 'Kitchen Basketry' course I'm running earlier in the year. Both cover the same style, but on this day we'll be experimanting with different patterns and a variety of closures.
